Many times in life we can find ourselves disconnected from the people we love, ourselves, and the world around us. Living in a world that promotes a fast pace life and little room for error can be difficult to manage and sometimes we can quickly find ourselves feeling trapped and alone. My style builds from self awareness and insight and focuses on living an inspired and intentional life. We all have the tools necessary to create a loving and compassionate relationship with ourselves, others and the world around us. We just have to look for it.
Art Therapy is a tool that increases one's self awareness and promotes creativity and personal growth. As a society we have steered away from our creative drives thus forcing us to find other ways to deal with our stress and pain. Art Therapy is proven to reduce anxiety and stress as well as reduce trauma symptoms. I find that using art in session has the ability to externalize our struggles and build confidence in ourselves while providing us with an alternative way to deal with life's stressors.
Individual Art Therapy sessions are 45-50 minutes long. Starting out it is recommended weekly sessions and then will transition to every other week.
Group Art Therapy sessions are 90 minutes long. Groups are max 10 participants. For more details and dates email me!
